It all started with a late night brainstorming chat between Konstadinos Gavelas and Alexandros Ivos in Athens, Greece in the middle of February. Kostas woke Alex up the next morning with an idea that could change the way people use social media. Ever since then they both knew that they were fed up with typing and texting and wanted to communicate differently, more naturally. That’s when they realized that communicating by voice was normal, so why wasn't that being implemented in social media? That’s when Doobbear was born!
A social media platform where individuals can record their voice and send recordings directly to their friends privately or post their recordings publicly to all of their friends. These recordings last up to 18 seconds and are called doobs!
